This is the result of a three-week relight study I conducted to improve my Unreal Lighting skills. I chose to have three separate Horror moods that have to convey three different emotions.
The key problem was to strike a balance between terror, low lights, and readability; the environment needed to be exciting and disturbing at times, but also exploitable. The lighting is tuned for games by maintaining the light complexity in the appropriate place between visual and performance.
This Environment was full of high res asset with crazy texture size, it need some optimization to run smoothly>
I will update this post with a performance video to show the stats.
