Lighting & Lookdev — We Find a Race track — RenderMan Challenge

This project was created for the RenderMan Challenge: First Contact, where it received an Honorable Mention.
----------------
Set in 2085 on Mars, this artwork imagines a hidden world of clandestine spaceship races. A human colonization craft stumbles upon this underground culture of speed, spectacle and high‑stakes competition.
----------------
I handled all lighting, lookdev, shading and compositing, as well as the technical setup of the multi‑scene workflow
----------------
Beyond the artistic focus on lighting, shading and compositing, I developed a modular Blender pipeline linking assets across animation, layout and lighting scenes. This ensured consistent updates, clean scene management and a scalable workflow similar to production setups.
